Access Accounting completely revolutionised CHKS’ Sales Order system. “Prior to Access Accounts we used to create our invoices on Word. We needed something to completely speed up our invoicing,” said European Financial Director Andrew Pemberton. “For example we may receive a multi-year contract and bill our clients on a quarterly basis. We are a service consultancy to the NHS, so we don’t make widgits, we want to put it on once and not have to worry again. Access Accounts has tailored a run extract report from the beginning of April bringing up all orders scheduled for invoicing without having to refer to a physical contract. It streamlines the whole process. Now we just put the order on, bring it up on screen, confirm we want to invoice and post to accounts. Finally we get the hard copy from the printer, put it in a window envelope with a 26p frank and off it goes. Access Accounts has made our life a lot easier, for less effort and with more accuracy.”
