Metix is a major distributor for Mixpac Systems AG, Switzerland, the World's leading manufacturer of 2-component cartridge systems for the packaging and dispensing of high performance adhesives and sealants. These chemical systems are used across a broad range of industries, including the aircraft and motor industries, and customer response times are of great importance to Metix in serving the industry efficiently.

Metix has always used Access Accounts for its accounting software and its whole Stock Control system utilises the fully integrated modules for total control. "The easy access to reports is invaluable." said General Manager, Shirley Yhap. "When a customer comes on the telephone to place an order, we can process that order immediately through the Sales Order Processing Module and by clicking on the Quantity Free button we have the facility to check stock availability, at a glance. How many are in stock, how many are reserved out and how many are due to come in by clicking on the Orders In button. This enables us to give accurate delivery dates."

"Another invaluable tool in the same module is the Price button. We are able to see the correct price for each customer, which was previously set up in the Price Matrix, and it also allows us to give out prices of the various quantity ranges. For example, if a customer wanted to buy 500 pieces of an item, we just click on the Price button, select 500 quantity range and the price is automatically inserted into the order."
