In its choice of system Stratford’s focussed on Multi-Currency facilities, stock control, and credit control. The company used to calculate the home currency value of their purchase invoices, and write remittance advice notes, manually. Calculating the Profit or Loss on exchange rates could take hours when currency rates fluctuated.

“Access Accounts makes dealing in multiple currencies easy and the Stock Control does everything we want. It is easy to know precisely what we have in stock and how much it is worth,” said Managing Director Paul Stratford. “In fact the Stock Control has really transformed our business. We import a lot of wine from Australia and Access has allowed us, at the touch of a button, to pull out a report on a weekly basis, which saves about two days work a month. Also, prior to Access Accounts we used to get about £18,000 worth of bad debt a year. In the past year we have had zero bad debt thanks to the Access Credit Control Module.
