Access Accounting announces record financial results

Leading business and accounting software vendor Access Accounting has announced record financial results for 2006/07 with a 15 per cent increase in turnover to £9.1m, and a rise of 78 per cent in profit before tax to £1.7m.

John Beech, managing director for Access Accounting, commented, “The financial success we’ve enjoyed this year has been tremendous, well above budget. This has been achieved while further increasing our investment in research and development by 10 per cent, part of a total increase of 93 per cent in the last four years.

Earlier this year, Access Accounting was voted Financial Software Provider of the Year by its customers in a leading industry award. The company was also the first to market with a Reverse Charge VAT module ready for the introduction of legislation in June and launched a Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) solution, prior to regulations coming into force in April.

The vendor’s flagship solution Access Dimensions continues to attract a broad customer base including The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The Prostate Cancer Charity, Southampton Solent University, Sacla, Strutt & Parker, and Bridgestone Motorsport.
