Eviivo selects Access Dimensions to meet complex settlement requirements

Eviivo Ltd, the leading software developer for the leisure and tourism industry, has selected Accord Consulting to implement award-winning accounting software, Access Dimensions. Accord Consulting, an Access Accounting specialist centre, beat off competition from suppliers of Navision and Great Plains.

“Our settlement requirements are very complex so we needed a solution that could deal with high volume transactions and interface with our own system. Access Dimensions will allow us to do just that,” said Paul Firth, financial director for Eviivo, which has successfully created a cost effective e-commerce solution for smaller accommodation providers, linked to travel portals across the UK.  

“We also felt that Accord Consulting was prepared to go the extra mile to find a solution that fitted our exact requirements. They really took the time to understand our business and what we were trying to achieve,” he continued.

Eviivo, which is set to expand its operation internationally, needed a system that could cope with its rapid business growth. Along with Access Dimensions, Accord Consulting will also be implementing Access’ Executive Desktop software, an application which compiles and distributes business summaries, allowing recipients access to more detailed information.

Llewellyn Victor, director for Accord Consulting, commented, “Eviivo wanted to departmentalise their reports so Executive Desktop is the perfect solution for them. It allows them to deliver specific information and business reports to managers and other staff via email or webpage.”

Access Dimensions offers Client/Server technology based on the industry-standard Microsoft SQL Server database. This scalable solution provides a huge leap in security processing speed and capacity over proprietary databases.
